ADVANCES IN MODELING OF ION EXCHANGE AND TRANSPORT

Ion transport ln the soil-water system play a significant role in their leaching losses beyond the root zone, availability for uptake by plants, and the potential contamination of groundwater supplies, so effectlve modeling of ion transport ls of considerable value. In this article, a brief summary of exchange model and parameter determination is presented.
