Study on macronutrient absorption of soilless medium cultivated muskmelon

  • The experiment took soilless medium cultivated muskmelon 'Tiantian №1' in greenhouse as material In this study, dry matter accumulation and macronutrient absorption were discussed The plants were sampled at 6 development stages, quickly fractionated ( root, stem, leaf, petiole and fruit), dried and weighed, and then macronutrient content was analyzed The results showed that total macronutrient amount of muskmelon demand was 11.09 g/plant, when the muskmelon's development stage was 100 days and total dry matter weight was 136 g/plant The vegetative growth stage and fruit expanding stage were the two important stages of dry matter accumulation (vegetative growth stage 1.27 gplant-1d-1, fruit expanding stage 2.19 gplant-1d-1) The muskmelon demand ratio of N, P, K, Ca, Mg was 41∶4∶32∶19∶4 at vegetative growth stage, 28∶5∶37∶25∶6 at fruit expanding stage The largest P demand amount of muskmelon was at fruit setting stage (15.55 mgplant-1d-1), the largest demand amount of N, P, K, Ca, Mg was at fruit expanding stage (N 52.58 mgplant-1d-1, K 82.33 mgplant-1d-1, Ca 54.59 mgplant-1d-1, Mg 12.42 mgplant-1d-1)
