Effects of drip fertigation on yield, quality and economic benefit of pineapple

  • Field experiment was conducted in Xuwen county to investigate the effects of drip fertigation and farmer practice on pineapple yield, quality and economic benefit. The experiment has three treatments: no fertilizer (CK), farmers practice (FP) and drip fertigation (DF). The results show as follows: The yield of DF is 81405 kg/ha and the rate of commodity fruit is 95.73%, increased by 39.04% and 11.51% respectively than those of FP. Applying drip fertigation can increase the net income by 69670 yuan/ha, save labor costs 1125 yuan/ha, N and P2O5 42.84% and 52.67% respectively, and promote by the input-output ratio from 2.00∶1 to 2.97∶1 compared with FP. So drip fertigation has positive effect on the yield, the rate of commodity fruit and economic benefit of pineapple.
