Effects of drip fertigation on yield, quality and economic benefit of pineapple

Field experiment was conducted in Xuwen county to investigate the effects of drip fertigation and farmer practice on pineapple yield, quality and economic benefit. The experiment has three treatments: no fertilizer (CK), farmers practice (FP) and drip fertigation (DF). The results show as follows: The yield of DF is 81405 kg/ha and the rate of commodity fruit is 95.73%, increased by 39.04% and 11.51% respectively than those of FP. Applying drip fertigation can increase the net income by 69670 yuan/ha, save labor costs 1125 yuan/ha, N and P2O5 42.84% and 52.67% respectively, and promote by the input-output ratio from 2.00∶1 to 2.97∶1 compared with FP. So drip fertigation has positive effect on the yield, the rate of commodity fruit and economic benefit of pineapple.
