STUDY ON THE ADSORPTION AND DESORPTION OF PHOSPHORUS IN SOILS AND PHOSPHORUS REQUIREMENT

  • In this paper, the adsorption and desorption of phosphorus in the different textuie soils were studied. The maximum amount of P adsorption (Xmax) was obtained from the Langmuir equation. The main chemical and physical properties, which affecting adsorption of P were clay content, CaCO3 content and available P content in soil. Phosphorus requrement (X) was calculated from the Freundlich equation X-acb by the value of C at 0. 2ug/g P.
