APPLICATION OF DIFFERENTIAL DISPLAY PCR IN IDENTIFYING GENES FOR PLANT TOLERANCE FOR SOIL STRESSES

  • DD-PCR has shown it as a useful technique in detecting and isolating environmental stress-induced genes in plants. With improvement of the technique, it will find its wide application in detecting soil stress-induced genes in higher plants. The present paper describes the principle of the technique and the improvement of the technique recently achieved, and the reports on the application of the technique in identifying genes plant tolerance for soil stresses.
