The nutritional status of P and Zn on rice cultivars with different oxidizing power of roots

  • Results of ag ar culture and soil culture indicated that the amounts of plaque iron on rice cultivars w ith different oxidizing pow er of roots were different .Rice cultivars with high ox idizing power of roots, such as LR- 2, TZ88-145 and YY-1, formed much more plaque on roots than cultivars with low oxidizing power of roots, such as KZ89-113 and KZ89-112 .The amounts of P and Zn accumulated in plaque of rice cultivars w ith high o xidizing pow er of roots were more than cultivars w ith low oxidizing power of roots, which caused that nutri- tional status of P and Zn in the rice cultivars with hig h oxidizing pow er of roots w ere better than that of cultivars w ith low oxidizing power of roo ts .
