Effect of different fertilization patterns on rice yield and nitrogen uptake and transformation in soil

  • 15N-labelled technique was used to study the effect of different fertilization on yield and nitrogen absorbing character of rice and transformation of soil nitrogen under pot culture condition. Results showed that on equal amount of N, P and K, once bassal dressing of organic and inorganic fertilizer, could promote N trans-location to rice grain and increase the yield. And it had the value of higher nitrogen utilization efficiency, higher nitrogen residual amount, less nitrogen loss and less labor etc, which could maintain both high yield and soil fertility. So it was a recommendable fertilization technique.
