Effect of winter conservation tillage in paddy field on soil enzyme activities and grain quality

  • Five planting models of winter conservation tillage in paddy field,as straw covered potato urider zero-tillage(T1),ryegrass under zero-tillage arid dircot seedthg(T2),rape seed urider zero-tillage and direct seeding(T3),oatgrass urider zero-tillage arid direct seeding (T4) arid the control (CK),were designed for studying their soil enzyme activities arid grain quality of Guodao-6 The results were showed that (l) Compared to the control,T1,T2 and T3 treatmentscould sigrfifieantly increase the activities of soil proteir,ase,neutral phosphatase,eatalase and invertase,and the soil enzyme activities in T1 treatment was higher thai those in other treatments (2) T1,T2 and T3 treatments could improvethe grain quality displaying higher hem milled rice and protein content as well as lower chalk degree,amylose contentand gel consistency than those in control(3) In this experiment,the soil enzyme activities correlated significantly withthe head milled rice,protein content,chalk degree,amylase content and gel consistency with the highest relative degreein the neutral phosphatase,followed by the proteinase,catalase and invertase.
