Promotion effects of native AM fungi on Cabernet Sauvignon grapevines in vineyards of Weibei Tableland

  • The growth promoting effects of three native AM fungi (Glomus mosseae, GM; Glomus intraradices, GI; Glomus versiforme, GV) which were isolated from vineyards in Weibei Tableland on Cabernet Sauvignon grapevines seedlings were investigated by using the controlled conditions with different inoculation treatments. Arbuscular mycorrhizae were found to form in the grapevine roots after inoculated with AMF, and there were differences of colonization among the different inoculation treatments. The results show that the mixed-fungi treatments have more mycorrhizal infection rates than those of the single fungus treatments. The mycorrhizal colonization caused by inoculum of GI+GV is of the largest efficient, followed by GM+GV, the least is GM+GI. When inoculated with single fungus, the mycorrhizal infection rate as follows: GVGIGM. At the same time, the plant height and dry weight are significantly increased. The inoculations of AM fungi can significantly increase Pn, Gs, Ci and Tr, and thereby enhance the photosynthesis of grape leaves, and the mixed-fungi inoculations have better effects than those of the single ones. Furthermore, the inoculations with AM fungi can significantly increase the contents of chlorophyll, soluble sugar and soluble protein of grape leaves.
