Effect of Lentinus Edodes root water-extractionon on rape seed vigor and stress resistance

This paper aims at studying the effects of Lentinus Edodes root waterextraction on rape seed vigor. The results show that the waterextraction soaking treatments significantly improve rape seed vigor. Under 4℃ low temperature stress, the 0.005 mg/L Lentinus Edodes root waterextraction treatment significantly increases germination rate of rape seeds, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, peroxidase (POD) activity, soluble sugar content, soluble protein content and chlorophyll content of rape leaves. The content of membrane lipid peroxidation product (MDA) is observably decreased which indicates that the waterextraction soaking treatment can functionally improve rape seedlings coldresistance. Furthermore, the ability of herbicide resistance of rape seeds could be enhanced by the 0.005 mg/L Lentinus Edodes roots waterextraction treatment as well.
