Abstract
Field experiments were conducted in double cropping rice field during 2005-2006 to study the effects of no-tillage cast transplanting on rice nutritional characteristics. The results showed that total N, P2O5 and K2O accumulation in early and late rice followed the order that No-tillage cast transplanting (NCT) >Conventional-tillage cast transplanting (CCT) >Conventional-tillage transplanting (CT), late rice N accumulation of NCT and CCT was higher than that of CT. The early and late rice N, P2O5 and K2O accumulation of NCT in the early stage was lower than that of CCT and CT, NCT and CCT were similar at middle and late stages, and were higher than that of CT. The N, P2O5 and K2O requirement per 100 kg grain of different treatments were the same. There was a close correlation between the amount of N, P2O5 and K2O uptake and rice yield.
