Effects of different fertigation methods on growth and yield of banana

Field plot trials were carried out to study the effects of different fertigation methods on banana growth and yield. Totally, five irrigation methods, named as traditional flooding (CK), percolated tape irrigation, drip tape irrigation, micro-sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation, were selected. The results showed that drip method and microsprinkler irrigation saved more than 73% and 69% water compared to CK throughout whole growing period, however, increased yield by 15.6% and 5.6%.
